As well as working for insurance giant Aviva, Tracey is a keen sports enthusiast and an FA-qualified football coach. She blogs about her campaign, the Conservative Party and her hopes for UK politics.

Bridget Fox is the Liberal Democrat PPC in Islington South & Finsbury, and blogs about her campaign work as well as her life as an Islington resident.

Claire French blogs about politics under the banner of ‘plurality’, commenting on political developments across the spectrum. She has just completed an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Journalism, and is a Young Fabian and a member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

Charlotte Gore is a popular independent political blogger who writes from a liberal perspective. In her writing, she argues for a smaller state, lower taxes and greater personal freedom. She has also written for The Guardian’s Comment Is Free section, and has featured on Sky News’ ‘Buzz’ feature.

Mary Honeyball was elected to the European Parliament in 2000, as a Labour Member for London, after 30 years in Labour politics. She previously served as a London Borough Councillor for eight years and blogs about life in Labour and her special interest in women’s rights.

Rupa Huq was the Labour PPC in Chesham and Amersham in 2005, and is currently running in council elections in the Walpole ward of Ealing. She teaches sociology at Kingston University, as well as blogging and writing for publications including the Guardian and the Times Higher Education Supplement.

Andrea Leadsom is the Conservative PPC for South Northamptonshire and blogs generally about politics and her campaigning work. She has wanted to be a politician since she was 13, and, after a long career in the banking industry, finally turned her hand to doing what she loves.

Caron Lindsay is a Liberal Democrat blogger and activist. She has won countless awards for her online writing and was shortlisted for the Lib Dem blog of the year 2009. Caron lives in Scotland and blogs about her family and political life, “with a dollop of Formula One and various random thoughts on the side”.

Caroline Lucas is the leader of the Green Party and an MEP for South East England, as well as the Green Party’s PPC for Brighton Pavilion. She campaigns and blogs about green economics, alternatives to globalisation, trade justice and animal welfare. In 2007 and 2009 she was voted Politician of the Year in the Observer’s Ethical Awards.

Seema Malhotra is the co-founder and Director of the Fabian Women’s Network. She is active in the Co-operative Party and Unite, and in was shortlisted for the Asian Women of Achievement Awards in 2007. She blogs about women in politics and the Labour campaign trail.

Lisa Mitchell is a student and Labourite, currently finishing a degree in Politics at Queen Mary University London. Her two great loves are politics and theatre, and she blogs about life in the City and her thoughts on the Labour Party as a progressive force for change.

Mary Reid has been Liberal Democrat councillor for the Chessington North and Hook ward in Kingston, south-west London since 1997. She blogs about her work as a councillor, as well as national politics and her particular interest in e-democracy.

Jennie Rigg lives in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, where she works as Press and Communications Officer for the Liberal Democrats and is also standing for the council in the forthcoming local elections. As well as her regular political updates, she blogs about music, feminism and sci-fi.

Carolyn Roberts blogs about politics, primarily from a Scottish feminist perspective, except when she gets distracted and blogs about entirely unrelated things.  She has no party affiliation and works in mental health.

Cleo Thompson runs The Gender Blog, where she writes about  things relating to women: in the media,  in politics, in business, in books, in the world. She lives in London, where writes on a variety of gender-related topics, promoting women’s interests in the UK and abroad.
